Technical Rescue Training Certificate

The Basic Emergency Rescue Technician program is designed to train Fire Departments on all aspects of urban search and rescue operations. The program is based on the FEMA and NFPA technical rescue model. The course is comprised of nine modules. Each module serves as a building block for the previous one. The TRT certificate is worth 19 credit hours as is incorporated into the Fire Science program as technical electives.
