Construction Safety Specialist Certificate (CETCSC)
The Construction Safety Specialist certificate is a 36-credit hour program designed for workers in the construction trade who can attend evening classes It meets to meet the needs of construction field supervisors, managers, and engineers who will manage and oversee project safety. The certificate is a stand-alone training program for construction personnel in need of safety training for their success or desiring new opportunities within this field. The certificate prepares students for the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) national board exam. The courses within the certificate also apply to the Safety and Security Management Associate of Applied Science degree program--Construction Safety major, offered by the Health and Public Safety Division of Cincinnati State.

Construction Safety Specialist Certificate Curriculum
Disaster Response Management Certificate (HAZC)
The Disaster Response Management certificate is a 22-credit hour program designed to meet the needs of emergency services personnel (fire, law enforcement, and emergency management) and private/public sector managers responsible for all types of emergency planning and response operations. These courses are designed to meet the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) standard in planning and response to an All–Hazards Emergency. Courses will address incident management response and planning, threat assessments, all types of hazardous material response operations, business/organization continuity operations and counter-terrorism planning and response. The certificate is a component of the Safety and Security Management Associate of Applied Science degree program, offered by the Health and Public Safety Division of Cincinnati State.
