Accreditations & Memberships



Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is accredited by the Ohio Board of Regents and the State Department of Education, Division of Vocational Education.

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC), 30 North LaSalle Street, Suite 2400, Chicago, Illinois 60602-2504, phone (800) 621-7440. The Higher Learning Commission is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).

Many of the College’s degree programs have earned accreditations by professional associations and organizations. Those applicable to the Midwest Culinary Institute include the following:

  • American Culinary Federation Foundation
  • Commission on Accreditation of the American Dietetic Association
  • Dietary Managers Association


As a committed leader in education and in the community it serves, the College holds memberships in a number of local, regional, and national organizations. Click here for a list of organizations.

The faculty of Midwest Culinary Institute is active in many professional and industry-specific organizations; many have achieved one or more certifications from these entities.
